Ted Kicks off Renovation and Restoration of Wilmington Train Station

Joined by fellow-frequent Wilmington-to-Washington Amtrak riders, Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Tom Carper, Ted visited the 100-year-old Wilmington Train Station last week to highlight $20 million in economic stimulus money that has helped to accelerate the station’s renovation and restoration. The project shows how the economic recovery package is helping put Delawareans back to work while addressing the state’s critical infrastructure needs.

First Kaufman Youth Conference Draws Over 150 Teens From Across Delaware

Carrying on the tradition started by Sen. Bill Roth and continued by Sen. Joe Biden, Ted hosted the “Kaufman Youth Conference” at Wesley College in Dover on May 11. 154 students from 34 Delaware high schools were in attendance for a Q&A session with Ted before hearing from various other professional leaders from across the state.
