BAGHDAD, Iraq – On Monday, Senator Ted KAUFMAN (D-DE) met with Vice President Joe Biden in Baghdad to discuss their visits to Iraq. Both underscored the importance of a long-term strategic relationship between the United States and Iraq. Senator KAUFMAN, on his fourth trip to Iraq, also met with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and Dr. Ayad Allawi to convey a message of partnership and support, and to urge the two sides to form a government.
